John Pritchett is in his 13th year as the play-by-play voice of the Del Norte High Warriors. Pritchett is an award-winning sports writer and photographer, and has been a part of the Del Norte High School athletic scene for a quarter-century. Along with his play-by-play duties, Pritchett also officiates high school and junior high basketball games around the region. In his spare time, Pritchett plays golf, serves on the Del Norte Fair Board, and enjoys being “Goofball Grandpa” to Maverick and Lucy.
